Seeds for Peas
Browse our great variety of peas!
The pea is probably the best known Faboideae family plant. It produces an annual crop and loves the sun and evenly moist soil. Since it forms tendrils, it very much needs a trellis or rods to help it climb.
Different types of peas are also grown differently. Sweet peas can be eaten as young pods while green peas or sweet peas are best known for their seeds.
Kitchen Tip:
- Add a tablespoon of sugar to boiling water to preserve the fresh green colour and enhance the flavour of the peas.
