Description

"Red Salad Bowl" lettuce by AUSTROSAAT is a fast-growing variety. The loose salad heads feature leaves tinged in red. The slightly bitter salad leaves taste delicious in any salad creation and also visually enhance your salad bowl. Suitable for harvesting the entire salad head as well as for picking individual leaves. Simply cut off the outer leaves and allow the rest of the salad head to keep growing. This allows it to develop new leaves 2-3 more times.

Instructions for sowing:

After sowing, cover the seeds with a soil layer about the same thickness as the seeds and keep evenly moist. A soil temperature of 15 °C is ideal for germination.
Sowing can start in February in a cold frame or greenhouse.
To harvest individual leaves, sow at a distance of 25 x 25 cm (thin out to this interval).
