Bionana Organic Honeydew Melon "Cosenza Giallo"

Under the slightly wrinkled, yellow skin of this honeydew melon hides delicate pale yellow flesh that tastes irresistibly juicy and sweet. Wonderfully refreshing on hot summer days.

Our tips:

• In cold areas, the melon may only thrive in the greenhouse or hotbed
• Planting out after the last frost is possible
• Requires loose, humus-rich, well-drained soil
• Water regularly
• Fertilise occasionally
• Soft skin and a sweet scent indicate that it is ready to be harvested
• The harvest should be done with a sharp knife including the stem - then the melons can be stored well into winter in a dark and not too dry place
• Heavy consumer of nutrients
