Description
The Blicello salad tomato has a particularly fruity flavour. It prefers cultivation in a protected location such as a greenhouse or under a cover. Starting in June, the plant produces a large number of round, pink to red tomatoes weighing 50 g each.
Tips & care:
- For layer cultivation, shorten the panicles as the lower fruits ripen slowly.
- Regular watering is recommended, to prevent the tomatoes from splitting.
- Avoid permanent high humidity.
- The seeds can be sown starting in mid-February. Plnat outdoors after the last frost.
- Prick out the seedlings and repot after the first leaf has formed. The base of the plants should be covered with soil to just below the cotyledons to allow development of strong roots.
- Plant at a distance of 60 x 60 cm or in a 10 litre containers.
