Florissa Box Tree Moth Trap

With this biotechnical pheromone trap, quickly and reliably discover a boxwood moth infestation and decide whether control measures are necessary. Thanks to its green colour, the trap does not attract any beneficial insects. With its natural pheromone, it only affects male boxwood moths whilst they swarm. These stick to the glue base of the trap, and can no longer fertilise females. Subsequently no more caterpillars develop. However, this trap does not replace control measures, but merely has an infestation-reducing effect.

Dosage: 1 trap/10m box hedge, or 10m radius

Usage:

1. Assemble the trap and attach the pheromone capsule to the hanging wire.
2. Insert the wire with the free end inside out through the perforation on the roof of the trap.
3. Unfold the glue base and slide it into the trap.
4. Hang the trap next to the plants you want to protect.
5. Change the glue base if it is covered with moths.
6. The pheromone capsule should be replaced after six weeks.
