Jora Dahl Dahlia "Sunny Reggae"

The Dahlia "Sunny Reggae" is an annual that prefers a sunny location. The seeds can be sown indoors from February to April - directly sowing the seeds outdoors is not recommended. The plants grow to a height of 40 cm and bear gorgeous blooms that are also great as cut flowers for a vase.

Tips:

• Grow the seeds indoors in trays or pots 4 - 8 weeks before the expected date of the last frost. Cover the seeds very lightly with soil.
• Dahlias seeds will germinate singly, so be patient.
• Transplant the young seedlings outdoors only when it is consistently warm (from May/June).
• Cut the flowers regularly. However, they do not open up much more once cut. So take care to cut them only once they are at least three-quarters open.
• The dahlia flowers will last for up to 7 days in a vase.
