Description

Beetroot D'Egypte is an early, fast-growing variety that produces flat, round beetroots and is suitable for beds and raised beds. The flesh is a beautiful dark red colour with subtle rings.

Tips:

Thin out seedling soon after germination
Harvest before the first frost
Cook, peel and prepare with the skin, pickle or freeze
Can be stored in sandboxes in the cellar until spring (harvest and store late sets from June sowing before the first frost)
