Description
The small to medium sized, round gourmet beans are harvested from the 16-17 cm long shells. Even after the cooking process, the beans are still an intense glossy green, thin shelled, and very tender and tasty.
Broad beans are sown early in February to April and tolerate initial temperatures between 5-10 ° C. They grow 90-100 cm high. Healthy plants are stable and develop dark green pods. Nodules form on the strong root system - the bacteria use the nitrogen for their growth, so only a small amount of fertilizer is necessary depending on the soil type.
