Description
The colourful, ripe beans of this variety are a typical ingredient in Italian cuisine and indispensable in many dishes. The pods can be harvested when they are around 11 to 12 cm long and yellowish in colour.
Tips:
- Direct outdoor sowing from May - requires relatively warm soil
- Can also be sown in groups (4 to 6 seeds per hole)
- Protect with vegetable netting against bean fly infestation
- Dry the seeds for storage
- Not suitable for eating raw
