Description
This gourmet variety is the successor of the popular Voletta, which bears medium-fine pods around 14 cm long and is resistant to mosaic virus, scorch marks and grease spots. They retain their appetising golden-yellow colour and crunchy bite even when cooked.
Tips:
- Requires warm soil temperatures for sowing
- Also suitable to sow 4 to 6 beans per hole
- Thin out seedlings soon after germination
- Cover with a vegetable net to protect against bean fly infestation
- Also suitable for growing in raised beds and containers
- Blanch and freeze to preserve
- Not suitable for eating raw
