Description
Kiepenkerl 'Frankfurter Grüne Soße' seed mix includes seeds for the most important herbs (borage-parsley-dill, chives-pimpinelle-chervil, sorrel-cress) that go into making this classic German sauce.
Frankfurt Green Sauce is a traditional dish usually served on Maundy Thursday before Easter as well as in spring and summer. The mixed, finely chopped herbs are prepared with sour cream or yoghurt and served cold with jacket potatoes and boiled eggs or meat. The fast-growing herbs prefer full sun. The soil should be slightly moist and rich in nutrients and humus.

- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil while sowing
- Thin out soon after germination
- Surplus seedlings are delicious as microgreens
