Our tips:

• Optimum germination temperature: 10°C
• Scarify the lawn once a year in April or May and reseed as needed
• Fertilise with a long-term lawn fertiliser in the spring (March to April) and summer (June to July) in damp weather
• Fertilise with a potassium-rich fertiliser in September
• Mow regularly - the cutting height in shady areas should be 5 to 6 cm, in sunny areas, 3 to 4 cm (ensure that the mower blades are sharp)
• If the drought persists, water deeply (15 cm deep) once or twice a week
