Description

The wintergreen leaves of winter cress are ideal for harvesting in autumn and winter and is suitable to serve in a salad or as a seasoning herb. It blooms in spring and early summer with yellow flowers that are a valuable food source for beneficial insects.

Tips:

Light germinator - do not cover the seeds with soil, just press them down lightly
Thin out seedlings soon after germination
Sow early for harvesting as early as late summer
Can be harvested throughout winter in frost-free weather (always harvest a few leaves at a time from the edge of the leaf rosette)
The flowers are edible too
