Magic Garden Seeds Grow-Your-Own Garden Feast

With this set, you can grow your organic vegetables and cultivate them year after year with the seeds you save. The beautifully illustrated gift box includes seeds for 12 wonderful varieties. All seeds are true-to-seed so you can save some of the seeds after your harvest and sow them again.

The box includes other useful accessories to ensure successful sowing, care and propagation of your seeds. These include detailed sowing instructions, a brochure on seed propagation, 12 wooden plant labels and 12 empty seed packs to store your home-grown seeds. You can use the colourful stickers to seal the seed packs.

The set contains seeds for the following 12 organic vegetables:

• Broad bean "Hangdown" (organic) (Vicia faba)
  The young seeds have a nutty-sweet flavour.
• Yellow bush bean "Dior" (organic) (Phaseolus vulgaris)
  A medium to early, very high-yield variety with up to 12 cm yellow bean pods. This stringless variety is resistant to many diseases that affect beans.
• Capuchin pea "Blauwschokker" (organic) (Pisum sativum)
  With beautiful purple flowers which develop into blue pods.
• New Zealand spinach (organic) (Tetragonia tetragonioides)
  A perennial variety with a strong flavour, sensitive to frost.
• Kale "Halbhoher Grüner Krauser" (organic) (Brassica oleracea)
  Very high-yielding variety, with broad, curly leaves.
• Carrot "Riesen von Colmar" (organic) (Daucus carota)
  Large carrots with an excellent flavour.
• Kohlrabi "Superschmelz" (organic) (Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes)
  A large, proven variety with a tender texture. The bulbs do not become woody even when they weigh up to 4 kg.
• Broccoli "Calabrese" (organic) (Brassica oleracea)
  This traditional broccoli variety has an especially long harvest period.
• Beetroot "Tonda di Chioggia" (organic) (Beta vulgaris)
  Originally from Italy, this beet variety has striking red and white stripes on the inside.
• Celery "Roem van Zwijndrecht" (organic) (Apium graveolens)
  A traditional celeriac variety with large tubers.
• Lettuce "Salad Bowl" (organic) (Lactuca sativa)
  A cut-and-come-again lettuce variety with a long harvest period
• Organic Cichorium intybus var. foliosum
  A delicious winter salad with relatively few bitter substances.
