Naturkraftwerk Beer Garden Growing Set

This fast-growing climber prefers the sun and partial shade and is perfect for greening up walls and fences. It also makes a creative gift for beer and nature lovers.
The "beer garden" box contains the seeds of the genuine hops, as well as everything else you need to grow the plant.

Contents:

• about 10 hops plant seeds (lat. Humulus lupulus)
• 1 compostable coconut fibre pot
• 1 coconut fibre starting pellet
• 1 planting guide

Cultivation:
Pre-soak seeds in lukewarm water for 12 to 24 hours. Soak the coconut pellet in the coconut pot with lukewarm water, place 2-3 seeds approx. 1 cm deep into the coconut substrate and keep regularly moist (not wet) until germination.
Add natural fertiliser immediately after germination.
When the plant is about 10 cm tall, plant it directly out in the garden.

• When planting in a container, use a larger container right from the start
• Location: sunny, sheltered
• Soil: deep, nutritious, calcareous
• Water and fertilise regularly
• The plant can be cultivated for several years - to do this, cut back the hops completely in autumn and let them sprout again in spring
• Early sowing outdoors in spring or storing the seeds in the refrigerator for 2 weeks before sowing have a positive impact on germination
• Hops are fast-growing and decorative climbing plants that can reach heights of up to 5 m
• Climbing aids such as wire, grids or fences are an advantage
