Naturkraftwerk Growing Set "For You" - Red Sunflowers

These red sunflowers (Helianthus annuus Evening Sun) bloom from August to October and are an absolute must for sunflower lovers. The decorative box makes them a lovely gift.

Contents:

• About 10 sunflower seeds (lat. Helianthus annuus Evening Sun)
• 1 compostable coconut pot
• 1 coir pellet
• 1 planting instructions

Cultivation:
Preculture in the coconut pot: Soak the coconut pellet in the coconut pot with lukewarm water and press 1-2 seeds approx. 1 cm into the coconut substrate. Add natural fertiliser immediately after germination. Keep moist (not wet) regularly until germination.
From the end of April to the beginning of June, plant the sapling with the coconut pot directly in the garden or in a larger container.
Outdoor sowing: the best time is between late April and early June. Press the seeds approx. 1 cm deep into the soil and keep them regularly moist until they germinate.

• Location: Full sun, very bright
• Water a lot and fertilise every 2 weeks

Useful information:
If you want cut sunflowers for the vase, leave 2-3 leaves below the flower head and remove the remaining leaves, so that the sunflower will last longer.
