Sonnenerde Soil Activator, 18 l

The Sonnenerde soil activator stimulates the build-up of humus in the soil and thus ensures that your plants are optimally supplied with nutrients. This effect becomes apparent immediately after application through improved plant growth. After several years of use, the soil activator transforms your soil into a "Terra Preta". This no longer needs fertilisation.

Trace elements and nutrients are retained on the surface and pores of the charcoal. These are always available and the plants can use them as needed. The soil activator is absorbed by the existing soil biology and converted into soil humus.

Production:

The biocharcoal has to be extinguished with water immediately after production. A concentrated phosphoric acid is used for this. This contact increases the surface tenfold and the charcoal is acidified. Then ammonium sulfate is sprayed onto the still hot coals. This also allows nitrogen to better penetrate the opened pores. This process ensures an N content of 5%. The enriched coal is then mixed into a 4-5 week compost (with rock meal). After 2 weeks, the humus-building biology migrates into the coal. After these 2 weeks, most of the compost is sieved out again (sieving to 8mm).

Application of the Sonnenerde soil activator:

• In order to fertilise existing soil for potted plants, the addition of 3-5% soil activator is recommended (i.e. 3-5 liters per 100 liters of finished soil). The activator must be mixed well with the soil. This means 6-10 liters per square meter. Apply the activator and work it into the surface. So far it has not been shown that over-fertilisation is possible with this activator. In scientifically conducted tests, up to 10% of the activator was mixed into the substrates - with the best results!

• In principle, the following applies: the worse the soil, the more activator can be used. The better the soil, the lower the noticeable nutrient effect. The humus build-up effect always remains!

• The soil activator should be treated more like a fertiliser than a ready-made soil. More than 10% must not be mixed into a substrate.
