Description
These vegetables can be cooked the way you would cook spinach: the leaves can be cooked, frozen or used for salad. Strawberry Blite was cultivated for centuries in European gardens before spinach came around.
After flowering, a series of bright red, juicy fruits grow on the plant. The fruits look like strawberries and are great for decorating fruit platters. Strawberry spinach also adds a nice touch to your balcony or home with its attractive red berries. They can be grown outdoors or in greenhouses. It's recommended to plant the blite in multiple stages to be able to have a constant harvest.
