The Substral® reseeding is a high-quality lawn seed mixture. Ideal for reseeding and repairing gaps in the lawn and problematic, flat gaps. Perfect as a rejuvenation cure after scarifying. For ornamental, commercial and sports & play lawns.

Mow the lawn and loosen up the soil before use.

What must be considered when sowing?

1. Sowing is possible between April and October when the average soil temperature is at least 6°C. Caution: In spring, air and soil temperatures can still differ greatly!
2. Spread Substral overseed lawn seeds evenly with the integrated spreading aid on the side. Spreaders such as Substral Handy Green or Substral Easy Green can also be used. Please avoid overdosing, because if the seeds are sown too densely, the grasses hinder each other's development. The application rate is 20g/m². When using a spreader, please follow the recommendations in the spreader table. (Substral Handy Green setting No. 4, Substral Easy Green setting No. 30)
3. Depending on the quality of the soil, it can make sense to use Substral Start lawn fertiliser to secure the nutrient supply for the first 3 months.
4. After sowing, work the seeds and possibly the fertiliser into the soil to about 1 cm deep with a rake. The resulting rough soil surface protects the seeds from drying out. After use, close the flap and store the box in a dry place. The seeds should be used during the season.
5. Irrigation is critical to success! Water the sown lawn regularly and keep the young seedlings continuously moist (especially in the first 3-4 weeks). Mow only when the young lawn has grown 8-10cm high.
