TROPICA Chaste Tree

This easy-care bonsai is famous in Thailand and can be grown indoors or outdoors. If you grow the plant indoors, be careful that your home is not too dry. The plants grow best in a moist greenhouse.

The plant loves a lot of air and light. The chaste tree bonsai has a strong trunk with beautiful beige bark. In the late summer/autumn the plant grows lots of pale blue and purple slightly fragrant flowers. As the plants like a lot of light, they will start to lose their leaves if the location they are in is too dark. During their winter hibernation period, they lose their leaves and can be left outdoors in a protected area.

If you take the tree out of the planter and wrap the root ball in peat, the plant can endure as low as -15 ° C temperatures. Indoor, the plant should be kept between 6 and 15 ° C. It should be watered only very sparingly during this time.
