Black Forrest F1 is an unusual breed with many advantages. It climbs or crawls for an easy harvest. The small fruits grow from 10 to a maximum of 25 cm long. Harvest can take place from June until frost. The plants are vigorous and robust and withstand rain and cooler periods. The plants look attractive with their large yellow flowers and mottled leaves. They are can be grown in large planters, and are also a nutritious decoration for the balcony. Zucchini can be used in many ways: cut raw into slices or sticks, for salads, stewed with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and eggplant together as a Ratatouille or cut or sliced, breaded and fried in olive oil.
